There was a birthday! I spent my fifty-second birthday with cousins, parents, quilting, caramel cupcakes, Conference, and friends. Not to mention 60-degree weather in Virginia, where the daffodils and trees are blooming. (Granted, that followed the day of snow and sleet amidst the blossoms, but I Am Conveniently Forgetting That Day, even if I did have to spend all day outside in it for work.)
My only photos are of the haul and the cupcakes: lots of fun stuff celebrating the MINI Countryman I bought last year; ribbons; and magnets. Add to that some fudge, a poem and testimony written just for me, jewelry, a pound of Sees dark chocolate raspberry creams, chocolate chip cookies left on my doorstep, and a beautiful handmade tissue flower. I was thoroughly flooded with good friends and good wishes.
Then I had to go back to the real world. Sigh. Thank you to all who made it so wonderful that I didn't want it to end!
