Yep, it's time to stop hibernating. But don't you want to hibernate in January? Stay home, eat cookies, make english muffins, and hide? The holidays are over, it's dark outside whenever I'm home, and I don't want to go anywhere. I also procrastinate most of my projects, so that suddenly the end of the month looms, and I haven't finished the tie-one-on apron, or the baby gifts, or the posters for the upcoming church party. But today, I'm back. The deadlines make me come back.
A few things are done. My taxes (I was audited yet again - the IRS loves me). I'm nearly done with a pink baby jumper:
And an orange/brown baby jumper, that goes so nicely with the $5 sweater from Target:
My posters and invites for our upcoming Winter Roundup - yeehaw! Please tell me that you'd want to come if you saw this poster? Please? Even if there might be people with cowboy hats on?
And, to end the hibernation with a bang - friends are coming over Friday for a Jane Austen night, to watch Northanger Abbey.
So - all I have left to do tomorrow night is to make an apron, finish sending the posters and invites, make goodies, decorate the house for Valentines Day, and clean up after all of these projects. I can do it. I know that I can.
Okay, maybe the apron can wait.
