This summer, the Arizona kids swapped out my patio scene for the beach scene. That worked out nicely for a few of the club little house goodies. Susan's glittery felt mermaid doll sits on one of the beach chairs; Heather's beach items for the backpack include the sweet little can of Fanta and the book on the table, and the towel with the little butterfly on the other chair.
Soon, I'll swap back the patio, when I'll be able to integrate some of the other littles:
There's Anne's green kitchen cabinet (I stole the canned goods for the diner from there). The artist's easel, canvas, paint, and palette from Pam will be a fun addition to the patio, as will the perfectly scaled metal patio chair and watering can from Melissa. Rosanna, who did the wonderful bubble gum machine, also make the little pink dollhouse.
Wouldn't a life-size version of these be great? Such as the handpainted bunny rocker from Crystal and the embroidered club little house rug from Junie. I definitely want grown-up versions of the pastel Nordstrom's shirts from Heidi.
Thank you, everyone, for all of your hard work, and especially Amy, who organized the whole thing and somehow made 48 contributions happen. She contributed the mail now in the diner and this tiny tiny little glitter house; I think it may be moved to a place of honor on my block tree for Christmas:
(That little jar of canned fruit is from Anne, too - it goes perfectly in the red cabinet with my real-sized canning jars!)
